Content Updates

Each year, ILM updates learning modules based on the latest curriculum guides released by Alberta Apprenticeship and Industry Training (AIT). These updates ensure our content remains current, accurate, and aligned with industry expectations.

When AIT releases a new curriculum guide for a trade, ILM begins the process of realigning our modules to reflect those changes. During this transition period, updated materials may not be immediately available. In the meantime, we continue to offer existing versions to support ongoing instruction.

To develop and validate new content, we work closely with instructors and subject matter experts from Alberta’s training institutions and industry groups.

What’s Included in ILM Updates?
We publish new editions of modules that have been:

• Realigned to reflect updated provincial curriculum requirements.
• Corrected for known errors.
• Refreshed to remove outdated content.

ILM Maintenance Update
As we focus on aligning with newly released curriculum guides, ILM is also reviewing its long-term approach to content maintenance and quality assurance. At this time, no formal maintenance projects or timelines have been confirmed. We appreciate your continued patience and will keep partners informed as future plans take shape.
